Today is the final Pakistani T-20 match. All eyes will be on the screen after 8:30 p.m. All hearts are beating and we all have our fingers crossed. It has been a long struggle. Our team always performs when we are least expecting it and that is what they showed us by reaching the finals.
Reaching the finals was not only about cricket. For us Pakistanis, it was a breather..... like a cool breeze when the weather is just too hot. It was a refreshing news at a time when all we hear is sad and distressing news....when we are at war with elements we cannot even comprehend.
In these times of uncertainty, we are all together as a nation....praying from our hearts that we win. This will be a win for all of us......this will allow us to feel that we can do it again and prove to the world that we are still Number One.
Here is to the Pakistani team and here is to winning, Inshallah!

At a time of such turmoil in our country the news of our team reaching the semi was great. By the grace of Allah the team is playing well and as the TEAM word literally means TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE. Best of Luck as the nation really needs this at this time

feeling proud, exuberance, euphoria, magical and mesmerisiing moments .......these are some of few words of a huge list of words pouring out of my mind at the moment....
I feel fortunate to have been a Witness to these amazing and historic moments by being actually present at the Lords cricket ground.......the moments which united our nation, regardless of color breed or ethnicity.....
Even on the streets of London the only commmon factor was the Green Flag.....with the crescent...........that is it....
the moment u sighted this flag the roar became louder and the cheer became clearer and that was .............PAKISTAN .......ZINDABAAAAAD....
and indeed i say ...........PAKISTAN ZINDABAAD.......
boy feel i would take some time to get over this Hangover of pure Euphoria........but who wants to get out in the first place........after all u dont get drunk every day on this highly potent dose of ur countrys win and claiming the world crown from none other then ur arch rival "INDIA"...
it was truly magical
